This note explains what data fluentemente collects and how it uses it. We collect the minimum needed to let you study.
Data we collect
When you create an account through Clerk we store your email and name. We store your sentences, cards and review progress. We don't collect data that isn't needed to run the app.
Where it's stored
Data lives in a PostgreSQL database hosted in Europe (Hetzner, Germany). Authentication is handled by Clerk.
Third-party services
We use Clerk for sign-in and OpenAI to generate sentences. Text you send to the generator is processed by OpenAI under its terms. We don't sell your data.
Your rights
You can delete your data at any time. From the Settings page you can delete your account: we remove your sentences, progress and profile.
Retention
We keep your data while you have an account. If you delete your account, the associated data is removed.
Cookies
We only use the technical cookies needed for your sign-in session. No advertising tracking.
